I started Ignite Music School because I wanted to build something different—a place where people of all ages can discover the joy of music without the pressure of traditional lessons. As a songwriter, I know firsthand that musical inspiration needs the right environment to grow—that’s why I built Ignite to be a safe, pressure-free space where all minds can truly create.

My Musical Journey 🎶

My own path with music started right here in the performing arts world when I was just 6 years old. From childhood up until I was 17, I lived and breathed music—taking classical piano and singing lessons, working through music exams, and performing in major showcases at The Helix.

While that strong technical foundation was incredibly valuable, I found my true musical heart when I stepped away from the strict exam rooms and out onto the streets as a busker and live gig performer.

Sharing music directly with people in its rawest form taught me something that tests never could: music is about genuine connection, expression, and joy—not just chasing perfection.

What We Do at Ignite 🎹 🎤

Today, I bring all of that experience into my piano and vocal lessons in Leixlip, Kildare. Whether you or your child are picking up an instrument for the first time, looking to find your singing voice, or wanting to explore songwriting, I am here to help you build great skills completely at your own pace.
